Department at a Glance

The department of sociology came in to existence in 1990-91. Initially, the B.A. started and there after, 1997-98 the M.A. in Political Science was started. At present stage the strength has reached to 350-400 students (including B.A. and M.A.). Among all social sciences, sociology is one of the most famous streams among students.
